Stone Planning has been hired as the economic impact consultant to New Jersey’s Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. Since 1984, the CRDA has invested more than $1.8 billion in over 400 projects across the state, including residential, commercial, cultural, sports and entertainment, and other developments. The CRDA owns Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall (a 10,500-seat arena) and the 500,000-square foot Atlantic City Convention Center, and has helped to fund the Atlantic City Marathon Series, concerts and festivals, and other special events. It has also invested in other development and improvement projects, including renovations and expansions of casino resorts and Atlantic City’s famed Boardwalk. As needed, Stone Planning will provide economic impact analyses for the CRDA’s projects and investments.
